Good News

It is very pleasure to share a news with all of you, Balasadan, an orphanage for girls in Warangal (Lashkar bazaar) which was running in a rented house is alloted a permanent building at Subedari warangal from Government.

All praise to Anitha Reddy for her continuous pressure on the Government authorities, which resulted in this success. The house hosts about 65 children. That said, as the house is very new they are badly in need of basic amenities like ceiling fans, tube lights, buckets etc.
I request all of you to help me to fulfill their needs.
I'm planning to visit the home this weekend, let me know if any one is interested.

RUN is official now!!

RUN (Reach U(s) in Need) is no more a Google group now, it is now registered under Office of the Registrar of societies. A brief history on it:

This was started in June 2008 collecting small funds from my thick friends and colleagues in Satyam and distributing things needed to social homes mostly in Waranagal and at times in Hyderabad. Then on a day I found Anitha Reddy's number through a friend and I contacted her and was greatly inspired and motivated by her work, she takes care of 50 social homes in Warangal district, this is when I found an apt channel to help more people and reach many homes through her and to ensure that the funds are not misused.

Many folks impressed by the concept choosed and more people contributed to the good cause. In nearly about 17 months i.e., by November 2009 the funds collected reached 2 Lakhs, this is
the great help done by you which had benefited hundreds of needy people including the recent flood victims.

With all your encouragement then got the idea to register RUN as a NGO, and after some delay it is registered now. Need more and more assistance from you to make this bigger and better. Soon we are going to open a bank account on the name of RUN
, will update you all on this soon and you can transfer funds to it.

Once again thanks to every one helping RUN running with out any hurdles. Please give us your valuable thoughts in improving RUN and its activities.

Your comments are most welcome.
