Swadhar Ladie's Orphan Home for Pragathi Seva Samithi

Swadhar is a ladie's Orphan home accommodating 55 folks. it was started in 2003 at Hanamkonda in warangal district.In this home people are complete orphans even they don't have any family members like relatives.few people were got married in early phase of their lives and lost their husband's helping hands and became very dependent on others.

All of these people are from rural areas and complete illiterates. To join those kind of ladie's into the home initially Sarpanch of the corresponding rural area has to send one authorization letter certified by MRO (mandal revenue officer). Few people have joined in the home through collector acceptance letters. They are studying through open universtity with the help of Anitha Reddy's and private donors.

Anitha Reddy started a scheme called Self-Employment, As part of this scheme people in the home got trained in Maggam works, Embroidery, Tailoring, Rolling by professionals with the help of private donors like RUN. And few people got trained in type Writing also, By seeing their work few organizations came forward and provided the employment for 4 of the people in their company as DTP Operators.Now we have planned to give the DTP training from those 4 folks to other persons in the home so that they can do the DTP work at the premise of the home.Few schools are ready to hand over their DTP work if they are able enough to do. Some individuals came forward to provide the fashion designing course also with free of cost.

One of the private Bank donated Desktop(PC) to the home and now they are in need of Computer printer and material required for fashion designing course.

Sai Vikasa Mentally Challenged Home

Sai Vikasa mentally Challenged Home started in 2001 at Hanamkonda,It is a private home accommodating 35 children(Boys and Girls).Most of the children in this home were 100% mentally retarded and very few of them are affected with mild retardation.Almost all of the children's parents have joined in the home and they were not giving any financial and moral support to the management.

A lady Sitayamma is running the home since 2001 with her family espouse and few of the private donors like RUN.Volunteer Anitha Reddy is also rendering her contributions to run the home with out any obstructions.

Government has provided the accommodation with nominal rent at outskirts of the warangal district(Setwar Building).apart the accommodation from the Govt they did not receive any help or any minimum needs which will be helpful for their survival.

Earlier they used to get the help from private club associations like LION's CLUB,As the president of the association got transferred to some other location they lost the help of that association also.From RUN we have donated some material in the months of November and December(2009).As due to the lack of funds we were unable to contribute more,Now they are fully in need of provisions and grossary items and looking for our help.If anybody is interested to take part in helping them please contact me or anitha reddy.
